Location excellent
Internet did not work in my room and they couldn’t fix it! They rang me every day to ask when they could clean my room! Both annoying!!!
-
Thank you for a comfortable stay. Right by the downtown, 15 minutes on foot. The bed was great, we truly enjoyed it and slept well. Room service was excellent too...
-
Car parking is so convenient, the location is fabulous, near bars and close to parks
-
The location is good, near trams and access to theatres
-
The hotel’s just next door hosier lane, also we could easily access old treasury building. We really loved staying at Windsor.
-
So close to old treasury building and Southbank. Chin Chin is a few steps away from the hotel. We do recommend it with confidence. Private parking was a great value.
-
We love old buildings and the heritage they generate. This hotel has so much character even if the floor boards creak.
As a retired hotelier I feel qualified to comment. The Cricketers Bar badly needs to remove an offensive odor as you enter from the internal door. It smells of mouldy beer. We watched patrons "pull faces" as they entered the room and their first smell.
-
The anbiance and atmosphere. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Nothing - all good!
-
Its a great central location to the centre of Melbourne
-
Old world charm. Friendly, helpful staff. Great location; at the "Paris end" of Melbourne, close to lots of up market shopping, great restaurants and theatres.
enjoyed the experience and will definitely be returning.
-
Beautiful old classy hotel with staff that love her!
-
The old world atmosphere, but best of all the very friendly and helpful staff.
Airco is outdated and doesnt work that well.
-
Staff were incredible!. Walked past this place for years, but never really gave it a thought. Beautiful victorian facade, comfy, classy.. In fact booking anther 2 nights for our return trip.
-
Service was excellent and very close to everything including the free city circle tram which could take you anywhere around Melbourne central. Also just outside was the parliament train station.
Room was a little too hot and the noise of the lift (we think) going up and down was a little annoying as it seemed to be right outside our room.
